All pieces have been photographed with moderate to bright natural light. In some cases, photos are edited to depict the most true-to-life colors. Some items may not be perfectly straight or rectangle. We consider these characteristics part of what makes them truly one-of-a-kind and handmade.

Each rug listed on our site is either a wool pile on a cotton foundation or a wool pile on a wool foundation. Quality, unrefined wool contains a substance called lanolin. Lanolin tends to have a natural smell, which many compare to the smell of sheep – or almost metallic-y, but sweet and grassy.
