This 5 piece place setting is entirely hand forged. We use Stainless Steel for the handles that have been hot forged into shape. The heat from the forge gives them the dark patina. They are then riveted to a Sterling Silver fork or spoon. The knife blade is also stainless steel. They are well balanced and weighty without being a workout. Any number of matching serving pieces can be made to complete a set.
